ISSN: 1179-7231
Relegere has been established to promote too disseminate academic question on reception history, broadly understood, both within too across religious traditions.

The mag has been founded on the conviction that the report of reception too faith must non trammel itself to a mere cataloguing of influence or a elementary recounting of the trajectories of foundational religious texts across time. Beyond this basic research, reception history needs to live to a greater extent than thoroughly understood on a conceptual too theoretical level; reception history must actively interrogate the taken-for-granted thought that foundational texts are somehow fixed, that their essential natures tin live distinguished from their subsequent reception.
In pursuit of this goal, Relegere actively encourages methodological, theoretical, too philosophical contributions relevant to reception history too religion, whether inwards relation to detail example studies or every bit stand-alone theoretical reflections. Through the production of a coherent trunk of theoretical too practical reflection past times too for scholars inwards really dissimilar fields too amongst really dissimilar interests, it is our promise that such an approach volition facilitate a fruitful too ongoing intelligence amidst scholars.
