For Classical teachers it is working to retain together with expand the house of Classics inwards the curriculum; to aid inwards the evolution of methodology together with educational activity aids; together with to heighten awareness inwards the community at large of the advantages of studying the Classics, especially inwards persuasion of the Classical heritage shared past times all of Europe.

The Association has branches throughout Ireland, including Cork, Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Sligo together with the South East.

Classical Association of Republic of Ireland Teachers (CAIT) is a department of the Classical Association together with specialises inwards supporting the educational activity of the classical subjects inwards Ireland.
